Differentiated Writing Strategies
This training reviews the core tenets of DI and RTI and then applies them to writing instruction. Participants will learn how to define writing standards, assess student writing skills, and use that information to choose appropriate interventions – all critical to helping students advance their writing skills. Designed for teachers who already have a basic understanding of DI and RTI.

- Explore how to define writing standards
- Examine strategies for collecting data on student writing skills
- Practice assessment strategies with student writing samples and based on specific elements of writing
- Learn strategies for keeping students engaged and working toward the content standards even when they think they are “done”
